I was celebrating being married and my wife my son with his girlfriend and my daughter with her boyfriend for a family celebration dinner. I made the reservations two months in advance. Here is how it started. We were seated everything seemed fine. First I order a bottle of wine that sometime later they came back and informed me they didn’t have. Second time around I order a bottle and they bring it to the table. A manager of some type with a suit serves it. It’s a red bottle wine and as he pours the wine he gets a bottle higher and higher from the glass with basically splashing. Never seen anyone air wine this way but He didn’t get any on us so I let it go. Not so lucky on the second floor as he pours the wine to my wife’s glass and not only does it splash but he knocks it over as it’s slashing. He was able to save about A quarter of the glass of wine but it’s all over the table cloth plus splashed on me and it is all over the bottom of the glass. He says he’s sorry and starts to walk away. I said wait a minute aren’t you going to clean this up. He’s hesitated as if he was going to go find someone else to do it. I knew how long that might take and said listen please clean this now before you leave so it doesn’t look like my wife spilled wine all over the table plus she can’t even pick up the glass little spill from the bottom of the glass on to her. He took a A napkin and covered that corner of the tablecloth in front of her and then left the Glass there. I wiped my arm off. He finally came back with another glass finish pouring our wine. He did not offer to replace the wine with the class to reimburse us for what was spilled or to change the table cloth. There are numerous other errors. The next big one the waters we ordered tuna tartare. It is delivered with no soy sauce available at the table. After waiting quite some time I was finally able to get his attention and asked for some so he sauce. Hey bring back a cup of what I thought was so he sauce poured all over my tuna and when I taste it I realize it’s very thick and taste more like teriyaki sauce very sweet almost. He wants to say I did not want to eat my
tuna basically ruined it for me since I was expecting soy Sauce. After waiting patiently again I asked him why he brought that and if he could replace it with so he sauce and he said he would. After a long wait he finally comes back and says instead of saying I’m sorry he says Chef told me that’s the way our soy sauce is very thick and taste different. I said if that’s the case why didn’t you tell me before I poured it all over my tuna. He said I don’t know but we don’t have anything else. After finally getting another tuna I ate it with nothing on it which was fine.
I adult 25 and 27-year-old children or drinks one simple as a Hemingway. After waiting 20 minutes they finally come back and say all we can’t make a Hemingway. There are many other problems but the steak I ordered was very good however the other dishes were mediocre.
Dinner was finished we probably sat there another half hour and never saw anybody come back to the table. This was a choice of three different dishes and pre-paid months in advance on my card that they used to make the reservation I presumed.
So since we hadn’t seen a waiter in over a half hour after finishing everything we walked down to the bathroom and we’re going to go downstairs to the bar. Finally some Lady with a strong Russian type accent abruptly comes up from behind
And hollers that you cannot leave without paying your bill in front of everybody. I said do you mind lowering your voice and let me know what the problem is because we are talking right now everybody is looking over here. Said you got up and left without signing any checks or paying your bill Loudly again. I said you have my credit card on file and since nobody came over for at least a half hour and I’m obviously not running out of here in fact my son was in the bathroom if you need me to sign bring it over and maybe don’t leave your restaurant patrons for so long at the end of the meal.
Such a beautiful venue but the worst service and a special occasion that I’ve ever had. We spent over $1100 there that evening and that’s how we were treated. Apologies that I expected, but you would think with someone spilled wine and (other errors) all over you they would do
something. When you spend this kind of money and you have a special event
This was so bad and such a turn off I am writing this. This all happened on August 17, 2019 our reservations were for 8 PM. So sad because I’ve been a patron Morada Bay for years and time to time Pierre’s and I love these places. read less - 9/03/2019

Turned up to find it closed for the season!! Was offered a table in the beach restaurant... thought great this is a lovely setting....... but no, all show no go, food was very disappointing
, didn’t get the tapas I ordered even having had the one I wanted described to me. Main course arrived, honestly I think I had come out of the freezer from birds eye. Lovely setting terrible food! read less - 11/20/2019
