The pumpkin curry soup was some of the best soup I’ve ever had with such a unique flavor. The hot apple cobbler a la mode desert was simply scrumptious and so was the key lime tart. The traditional thanksgiving entree was ok, with the light fluffy stuffing being the highlight. The seafood entree option was perfectly prepared, but a pretty small piece of fish. Overall, a nice meal even for the $70 per person price on the holiday, except for the vegetarian option. I called in advance to inquire about their vegetarian gluten free options and they said they would have something to accommodate. Well, they served my daughter an entree with mashed potatoes and green beans (a subset of the traditional thanksgiving food), said it could be bottomless and still charged us $70. Seemed like a weak attempt on their part. We had a large group and they put us jn a nice table in the bar, as the upstairs is currently closed while they fix hurricane damage. Overall, a pleasant experience for the family and grateful for a nice thanksgiving meal while traveling. read less

Highly recommended, as well as Pierre’s and it couldn’t have been nicer. As I made the reservations well in advance of your trip, the exact time slipped my mind. We showed up nearly an hour past our reservation, to which we were so looking forward. We were greeted by a delightful young woman who informed us of our mistake, but also that they would do their best to accommodate us anyway. The restaurant was full, from what we could tell, so didn’t think we would get a table. Not only did we get seated within 15 minutes, but she also seated us at what we can only describe, as the best seat in the restaurant. The service was impeccable, the staff friendly. Zero pretenses. Their extensive wine list made it a bit difficult to decide. Luckily our waiter guided us in the right direction, recommending the Meursault Charmes. Absolutely delicious and our new favorite. It paired so well with our amazing meal, which we each enjoyed immensely. Our experience at Pierre’s has us looking forward to our next trip to Islamorada. I loved the course i just hated traversing that thick mud ditch at the beginning of the course.. i bet i was carrying 15 lbs of mud the first half of the race from that.
