Nostalgic island elegance done perfectly. It reminds me of what Cuba must've been like in it's heyday, beautiful people dressed to the nines, lounging in an elegant cafe overlooking a pristine private beach and sunset. The historic structure Pierre's is located is magnificent. Downstairs is the bar lounge area, with a deco-nautical vibe with b&w framed photos. It was a great place to start with drinks and a thin crusted pizza. We then were seated for dinner upstairs on the veranda where we had a great view and soft breeze off the ocean. The service and food were EXCELLENT. I mean top 3 of all time, anywhere excellent. Kind of combo of high-end Nantucket B&B with island elegance, excellent food and truly professional service. If you are anywhere in the keys and looking for a fine dining experience, this is the place. We could've been happy with our pizza and drinks downstairs, but we're so glad we made a reservation for upstairs. Get there when they open for dinner and get seating outside if weather permits. We drove from Key Largo where we were staying and it was well worth it.

If i may suggest a few things though for next years run, first you need more water stations. The first station we came to was out of water. everyone around me was very disappointed. one girl thought she was going to be sick. We were all looking forward to something to drink. another suggesting is to have a volunteer at some of the obstacles in the woods with a walkie talkie. I was behind the women who broke her ankle at the boulder infront of the cave. It took forever for the medical team to get to her.read moreread lessMichelle Berry5/22/2017This restaurant really exceeded This restaurant really exceeded my expectations. We arrived about 90 minutes ahead of our reservation time to watch the sunset. The outdoor lounge are is perfectly lovely. They have little fire pits at several of the couches and it was so cozy and inviting. Service was great.
The restaurant itself is such a beautiful old building and the inside bar and lounge is old school classy. I loved it.
We were seated on the upper balcony right on the water. The views are amazing. This coming from a life long Floridian who has visited many Caribbean locations.
The food and presentation was beautiful. We had several different appetizers and lobster curry. It was a bit eclectic with an interesting mix of flavors. Desserts were unfortunately underwhelming but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend this upscale causal restaurant if you are visiting Islamorada.read moreread lessLuxTravelMama3/14/2021 -
Out of this World Cuisine , ranks with the very best that The Keys has to offer from Key Kargo to Key West if not the be As I walked into the beautiful large Key West Style two story restaurant a lovely hostess showed. E up the sweeping wooden staircase to the second floor balcony overlooking the beautiful property and the Bay
As I sat in my chair Ella Fitzgerald’s “I Love Paris “ flavored the atmosphere for an exceptional culinary experience
The service was second to none
I had raw oysters from Washington State as well as Massachusetts. The Pacific oysters were a delicious Briny flavor while the Massachusetts oysters were fantastically succulent
Tge chef prepared for me a Pork Belly appetizer that was extremely flavorful and delicate
I then had caviar with Moët Chandon Brut which was
superb
For an entree I had the Grouper prepared grilled , tender and juicy with French string beans and rice pilaf was high was extraordinary
For dessert had the home made Key alone Pue which exceeded any previous Key Lomé pie experience
A must restaurant for the discerning diner
Dr Chris Oread moreread lessBaroloCordera10/02/2020Fantastic service makes this extra special There are lots of spots to get great food, at Pierre's we had outstanding service at both visits, making this a step above. We were at the 9:30 new year's eve seating. what could have been a less-than-stellar experience ended up being a really nice night. I think that logistically, there were a lot of people moving around about the time we got there at 8:45, making it feel less special and intimate than we thought, given the pricetag. We wanted to check out the beach and the lovely building, but opted not to wander too far. There was security to get into the restaurant/beach area and more security to get into the restaurant, all monitored by colored wrist bands. There was nothing keeping us from moving around, we simply didn't know the area and opted to stay close so that we could be seated on time. The earlier seating was trying to leave as our seating was arriving, and all in a small foyer, so a little chaotic. However, once we got upstairs to our table, overlooking the beach, all was wonderful. Our server, Dawn, couldn't have been more wonderful or accommodating to our food allergies, etc. (there was not a choice for the meal, and it wasn't announced beforehand, so we needed some help making adjustments based on allergies) We both enjoyed our meals, watched the fireworks from the balcony over dessert and enjoyed chatting with a few other diners. We'd heard such good things about the food from locals, we wanted to give the restaurant another try, to choose our own meals and see how we did. Everything was wonderful and luckily, we had Dawn the next night! We found the wine menu to give us plenty to choose from, both our meals were quite good and of course, don't miss dessert!
read moreread lessKellyF561/13/2020We enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at Pierre’s. They brought us each a small baked Brie dish with honey, nuts and apples that was delicious! The pumpkin curry soup was some of the best soup I’ve ever had with such a unique flavor. The hot apple cobbler a la mode desert was simply scrumptious and so was the key lime tart. The traditional thanksgiving entree was ok, with the light fluffy stuffing being the highlight. The seafood entree option was perfectly prepared, but a pretty small piece of fish. Overall, a nice meal even for the $70 per person price on the holiday, except for the vegetarian option. I called in advance to inquire about their vegetarian gluten free options and they said they would have something to accommodate. Well, they served my daughter an entree with mashed potatoes and green beans (a subset of the traditional thanksgiving food), said it could be bottomless and still charged us $70. Seemed like a weak attempt on their part. We had a large group and they put us jn a nice table in the bar, as the upstairs is currently closed while they fix hurricane damage. Overall, a pleasant experience for the family and grateful for a nice thanksgiving meal while traveling.

Well when it come to “fine Dining” in Islamorada there is little else to touch the venue, location and service of this restaurant.
We booked a table by phone with Sandra the day before our anniversary dinner and found her to be extremely professional and helpful with no difficulty in understanding my English accent or our requirements which can not be said for a number of restaurants in the area.
Sandra then met us on the evening and gave us a choice of tables.
Wine list choice was good and pricing reasonable for this area. My only minor complaint was the quality of the actual food menus (not the food on them) but the style and condition of the menus being something found a roadside bar or diner.
Daily specials very good
Overall good meal experienceread moreread lessChef21125/26/2018Always a Fun Sunset Cocktail Spot Our family has enjoyed visiting Pierre's for years... maybe since it first opened. Generally we just visit for appetizers and cocktails on the beach.
The beach may not be "real" (imported sand rather than the usual coral rockiness) but this place feels really "Keys-y". Great outdoor seating --cushioned wicker chairs and sofas --and beds on the beach!--make it a fun place to simply hang out, have a cocktail and enjoy some relaxed conversation.
Great staff. Slightly pricey drinks, but worth it for the views and elegant-yet-mellow atmosphere.
Added bonus: they have a charging station (not a super-charger) in the parking lot for electric cars, so dad was able to juice up his Tesla a bit during our visit.read moreread lessGhiaGirl2/15/2019 - Ran three laps today at the 2016 Panther Run. I would've signed up for 2017 if they'd let me. Absolutely love this race; the venue, the obstacles, the volunteers, everything. Can't recommend it highly enough. Definitely worth bringing out the whole family. If you're thinking about doing it, do it. You won't be sorry.read moreread lessBrian Holland5/22/2016
Great New Years Evd Have spent NYE in places all over the world. Can’t think of anything more perfect than an 80 degree night at Pierre’s / Morada Bay festivities. The price fixe menu was delicious. The entertainment fabulous as always - similar to their monthly Full Moon Party. If you’re in the Islamorada area and can afford it - this is the place to be for a fun night. It’s classy, not pretentious. A “grown up” venue.

Pierre’s is truly a gem! If I could give 10 stars I would. On vacation for 5 days and came here twice! The food is amazing with a tremendous amount of thought and talent placed into every dish. The servers are passionate and their descriptions are so detailed that you can practically taste the food before it even arrives. Sonny the food and beverage manager is so attentive and yet he is multi tasking their sister location simultaneously. You can tell just by speaking to him for a few minutes how passionate he is about his job. Chance was our server on this night. Steve was the bartender/ server the first night. Come and dine here once and you will see why I can't stop raving about this place. Lastly, the view!! Sit on the patio or take your drinks out by the Oceanside beach chairs they have complete with fire pits. Truly a gem!!

I have to say this was the BEST run so far we have done and will do this one from now on!read moreread lessMichelle Daniel Gilham8/24/2014Outstanding! Careful of prices though Atmosphere is beautiful- located right on the water. Although when we visited it was windy and cold, the outside seating looks amazing. We ate indoors and dining was lovely. We had oysters to start which were outstanding. I had the Triple tail fish and it did not disappoint. My husband had the special. It was Iberico pork. We usually don’t chose pork when fresh fish is on the menu, but in this case the pork was incredible. Everything we ate was amazing, service was excellent. My only complaint is that we were not told ahead of time the price of the special. Although the pork was good, at $85 my husband thought he would’ve picked fish had he known that. We never would’ve thought it was that much.

From the moment you get seated, you are treated well! Very nice servers and the views at sunset are amazing!! I had the lamb and it was the best I have had in years. Second time there and both visits were A+++!! My girlfriend had the ribeye and it was equally as good!! You must go there for a romantic dinner for two!!!

The location is marvelous, near the water and white sand very close.
Highly recommended.read moreread less12/09/2018Beautiful view and delicious! Beautiful restaurant with seating on the upper floor with lovely views. The food was wonderful and the restaurant had a dress code of collared shirts for men which is not common in this casual beach area - but was nice to see. French onion soup was delicious and not salty. The restaurant is located right next to the Morada Bay Cafe which has live music on Saturday nights and dancing on the sand with stilt walkers and fire twirling - we were eating there for the full moon festival and had a fabulous evening! There are certain nights where the menu is prix fixe so call beforehand to make sure
