- We spent our anniversary dinner here. Loved everything - the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was inventive and delicious. The atmosphere and decor is interesting and appealing. If you’re looking for a view or a terrific bar for a drink stop here. May need reservations. The wine list was very nice - enjoyed a lovely glass of Sancerre. My husband started with a salad that was inventively presented and had a vingerette of jalapeño, key lime and vanilla - really great!read moreread lessPatricia H2/11/2018A Pierre’s experience is never a disappointment. Have a cocktail in the lounge or on the veranda watching the sunset in a display of breathtaking colors, enjoy the most exquisite cuisine the Keys has to offer and a nightclub atmosphere later in the evening. Plan your trip to include the monthly Full Moon Festival!read moreread lessmec5344/01/2018Great food but the service......eh Great food but the service was less than stellar. The server never asked if we wanted another drink even though he picked up our empty glasses. Nerve came back to check on our food or how we liked it.

Service very attentive.read moreread lessMariota C5/17/2018Service, location and excellent food....the triple threat! This my 4th visit to Pierre's over about as many years. We occasionally spend a long weekend in the Upper Keys, from Miami. We have had consistently good food each time and the setting is beautiful, located on a little inlet/ bay with sand. It is more elegant than the setting suggest and is perfect for a romantic night or a solid good quality meal. This time we visited while on Memorial Day weekend. I started with the octopus and it was solid, not gooey and had an almost crispy texture. I followed with the duck, which was rich and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Chilean Sea bass over a puree of artichoke, which was the special...and special it was. The fish was fresh and meaty, but delicate in flavor and the puree was indescribably subtle and perfect texture. We also tasted the escargot in a voulevant pastry which was as flaky and decadent as the escargot were rich and tasty. The shrimp was good as well, not overdone, as can be the case. The dessert selection which we sampled included the key lime tart, creamy but light in a thick flavorful graham cracker crust, a dulce de leche cheese cake, also very rich, but not too sweet, and the creme brulee which was the best of the three with a smooth delicious pudding covered with a crispy brittle caramel crust. We did take our own wine, and the corkage fee was quite steep, especially for the Keys ($50). But, I saved the best comments for the last. Our server, Ellen Grace, was attentive and on top of every detail. She knew each dish down to the smallest detail, at one point going back to the kitchen to inquire about the pastry because she wanted/needed to get it right. Such professionalism in a server is hard to find and a mark of an excellent restaurant and its attention to detail. We will return again and look for Ellen Grace for another amazing dining experience.read moreread less161juancarlosv5/31/2021Come for the food, stay for the view! You cannot beat this location for (in no certain order) a) indoor decor; b) outdoor seating area; c) cocktails and d) the FOOD. This place has almost (see below) everything going for it. The food is the star and should be the reason you come here, above all else...it is spectacular. Our party tried four different appetizers from the foie gras to the octopus and all were spectacular. Our entrees were equally fantastic, from the veal chop special to the curried lobster (not many dishes are presented with half a coconut on the plate!). We all marveled at the meal and enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces. This is quite the place and a must-stop for a foodie!
The only negative was a wine list that seemed to scream...look how expensive these wines are instead of look what a great wine list we have. That being said, there are some gems on it...read moreread lessjessengee4/05/2021 - merveilleux We had planned to sit outside but the late April sun still shone too hot so we opted for the couch at the far side of Pierre's bar, beneath the canoe artfully perched on the wall. The drinks were varied and sublime but soon it was time to move upstairs to the balcony for our dinner. The sun shades adjusted to keep the heat down, we settled in for one more cocktail, and a bottle of Shafer cab. The onion soup? Excellent and hot enough to make me forget the sun. The foie gras? My table mates raved. It's not pate, it's the actual liver so you're getting the real thing. If you're unfamiliar with sous vide cooking, learn how the experts do it by ordering the veal cheeks. Triple tail was on the menu so two of us ventured there to great acclaim. The place is expensive but they deliver value. As the sun set, the shades went up, the breeze came alive and the view through the palms made the setting perfect. I'm hard to impress. I was impressed. My only regret? The party of four celebrating a birthday at an adjacent table failed to offer us a slice of their cake even though we sang along. Oh, well.read moreread lessPaulR3544/19/2021
- Delightful evening at the lovely Pierres The setting at the lovely Pierres restaurant is fabulous. Skylar who was the seating hostess made sure we were comfortably seated at a shaded outdoor table. We enjoyed our meal. The onion soup was especially memorable. Perhaps we were naive but when we were seated we were offered a choice of still or bubbly water. We chose still thinking this was regular water. No--on our bill was an $8.00 charge. We should have said "regular" even though that was not one of the choices. We feel they took advantage, so watch out unless you want $8.00 water.read moreread lessJudy E4/10/2021Best sunset dinner! Pierre’s is a beautiful restaurant on Morado Bay. We'll summarize the night a bit. We arrived late and they were very helpful trying to accommodate us. The service provided by each one of the staff was outstanding.
They have a brilliant collection of cigars at the entrance.
Our server was Sandra, and we loved how helpful she was and patient with our requests.
Food exquisite. Wagyu is a little bit expensive in my experience but worth the money.
The oysters from the west coast are sublime and super tasty.
Definitely coming backread moreread lessmichelingguy2/19/2022This place, simply put, wowed us from start to finish. We were disappointed to find that Pierre's was closed during our visit (though we had made a reservation) and that a pop up bistro was in it's place temporarily. The manger was overly accommodating, gave us the best seat in the house and our service was impeccable. We had SUCH a great night for our 10th anniversary. The evening upstairs was unforgettable and wonderful. The food was very tasty. We had beef tartare, caviar, octopus, duck, and salmon. Our server Leontyne made the night even better with her great service. The entire staff was professional and efficient. Will definitely be going back. Can’t think of anything more perfect than an 80 degree night at Pierre’s / Morada Bay festivities. The price fixe menu was delicious. The entertainment fabulous as always - similar to their monthly Full Moon Party. If you’re in the Islamorada area and can afford it - this is the place to be for a fun night. It’s classy, not pretentious. A “grown up” venue.read moreread lessGlobetrottingGurl1/01/1970Highly recommended! After hearing rave reviews from a dear friend, I surprised my wife with a trip to Morada Bay. Highly recommended, as well as Pierre’s and it couldn’t have been nicer. As I made the reservations well in advance of your trip, the exact time slipped my mind. We showed up nearly an hour past our reservation, to which we were so looking forward. We were greeted by a delightful young woman who informed us of our mistake, but also that they would do their best to accommodate us anyway. The restaurant was full, from what we could tell, so didn’t think we would get a table. Not only did we get seated within 15 minutes, but she also seated us at what we can only describe, as the best seat in the restaurant. The service was impeccable, the staff friendly. Zero pretenses. Their extensive wine list made it a bit difficult to decide. Luckily our waiter guided us in the right direction, recommending the Meursault Charmes. Absolutely delicious and our new favorite. It paired so well with our amazing meal, which we each enjoyed immensely. Our experience at Pierre’s has us looking forward to our next trip to Islamorada. We will always remember what a lovely time we had. If you’re planning a trip to Islamorada, treat yourself to an evening at Pierre’s.read moreread less123djamalz9/06/2019We came for a family celebration and were not disappointed. We started with a bottle of champagne in the bar. The ambiance is very Keyz. Brian our host seated us and as it was quite warm we dined inside by the window. Our server was professional and attentive as was Brian. The food was stupendous. Seafood curry was both a visual and tasty treat. The seafood tower was a great presentation and the oysters were excellent. Good wine list and reasonable. Very expensive but a wonderful and memorable timeread moreread lessWinnieTavernier7/08/2018
